The Hardened Voyage Recorder (HVR) is a fully IMO compliant final recording medium that
is compatible with most of the currently available Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) systems. The HVR can be offered with an
Audio Acquisition and Microphone Mixer (AAMM) - a personal add in card which acquires, mixes, compresses, and channelizes microphone and VHF inputsin a host PC.
The Ross Automatic Identification System (AIS) is a collision avoidance tool designed to
improve situational awareness of the bridge crew and facilitate communication between vessels.
The Ross VHF Digital Selective Calling (DSC) Radios provide a robust single unit design
with added functionality that provides a full range of VHF communication options.
The Global Maritime Distress Safety System (GMDSS) provides operators with a user friendly interface to AIS data overlaid on a chart background supported by the most complete
navigational chart dataset available.
