Aviation Recorders Training Courses
The L-3 Communications Aviation Recorders training schedule is provided below. Our facility is located in Sarasota Florida, which is about 60 miles south of Tampa Florida, on the Gulf of Mexico coast. Please find our local area map for your review.
There are two separate training courses offered:
Course #1: A four-day FA2100FDR and FA2100CVR Operation and Maintenance course. There is a no-charge (N.C.) course fee, however, there is a $500.00 non-refundable registration fee required. This course is designed to provide the necessary skills to operate, readout, and return to service our FA2100 FDR, CVR & CVDR recorders.
Course #2: A four-day A/C Configuration Database Development & Flight Data Analysis course. There is a $1,000.00 course fee, plus a $500.00 non-refundable registration fee required. This course is designed to provide the necessary skills to develop and maintain aircraft parameter databases, engineering reports and analyze the aircraft flight data using the L-3AR ROSE software.
Course #3: A single day Accident Investigation course. There is no charge for this course, but access is restricted. Please see the syllabus for more information on the restrictions.
If registering for multiple classes, only one registration fee is required.
Each training course class size is limited to 15 persons on a first-come, first-served basis.

Class will begin each day at 09:00 hours and conclude at or before 15:30 hours. Please plan to be in our lobby at 08:45 hours each day for sign-in. We will break for lunch each day from 11:30 to 13:00 and during that time, all students must leave the facility since we have no internal eating establishment.
